Guest Terms and Conditions & Resort Policies
Welcome to Sands and Waves Beach Resort. To ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all our guests, please review and adhere to the following rules and regulations. Registration and stay at the resort imply full acceptance of these terms.
1. Check-In and Check-Out Policies
- Standard Schedule:
- Check-In Time: 2:00 PM
- Check-Out Time: 12:00 PM
- Late Arrival: Check-out times are strictly implemented. No adjustments or extensions to the checkout time will be granted if a guest checks in later than 2:00 PM.
- Extensions: Exceeding your stay past the designated check-out time will incur strict additional hourly charges, depending on room availability.
2. Reservation and Cancellation Policy
- Reservation Fee: A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking. This fee is strictly non-refundable.
- Rebooking: Subject to availability, guests may reschedule their stay. Rebooking requests must be submitted no later than 3 days prior to the original scheduled date of stay, and the newly selected dates must occur within a 30-day window from the original booking dates.
- No-Show Policy: In the event of a no-show, the reservation fee is automatically forfeited, non-refundable, and cannot be rebooked.
3. Noise and Community Ordinances
- Quiet Hours: In compliance with local Barangay Ordinance imposing a 10:00 PM curfew on loud noises, strict quiet hours must be observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Audio Equipment: Loudspeakers and videoke machines are strictly prohibited in the room and accommodation areas at all times.
4. Health, Safety, and Prohibited Substances
- Smoking & Substance Policy: Smoking, vaping, or the use of illegal drugs inside any resort premises or rooms is strictly prohibited.
- Liability Waiver: All guests are required to sign a liability and registration waiver upon arrival.
5. Facilities and Recreational Activities
- Beach Swimming Hours: Per Coast Guard regulations, swimming in the beach area is only permitted from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Pool Regulations: Operating Hours: 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
- Attire: Proper swimming attire is required at all times.
- Restrictions: Food and drinks are strictly prohibited within the immediate pool area.
6. Room Usage and Cooking Guidelines
- Cooking Policy: Cooking inside the guest rooms is strictly prohibited.
- Approved Equipment: Guests may use butane stoves or “gasulito” cookers exclusively in the designated Common Kitchen area (free of corkage).
- Electric Appliances: The use of personal electronic cookers or any external electrical appliances is strictly prohibited.
- Furniture: Rearranging room furniture is strictly forbidden.
- Room Capacity: Exceeding the recommended room capacity does not guarantee guest comfort.
7. Pet Policy
- Allowed Accommodations: Domesticated and fully trained pets are permitted only in our Lower Teepee and Upper Teepee rooms. Pets are strictly prohibited in Villa rooms and the Family Teepee room.
- Pet Fee: A pet fee of ₱500 per pet will be charged.
- Hygiene & Safety: All permitted pets must wear diapers at all times and must be kept on a leash when outdoors.
- Liability: Pet owners assume full financial and legal responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or property damages caused by their pets.
8. Damages and Missing Items
- Property Damage: Any missing items and damages to resort property, structures, or fixtures during your stay will be billed accordingly to the registered guest.
- Linens and Curtains: Stains on linens, towels, and curtains requiring specialized cleaning or replacement will incur corresponding penalty charges.
9. Travelling with Minors
- Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Children should be supervised at all times, especially near water or activity areas.

Amenities & Accommodations
Q: Are towels provided in the rooms?
A: Towels are exclusively provided for guests staying in our Villa accommodations (including Family Villas and Small Villas). Guests staying in other accommodation types are kindly requested to bring their own.
Q: Is Wi-Fi available at the resort?
A: We do not offer dedicated in-room Wi-Fi at this time. A guest Wi-Fi network is accessible on the premises, but please note that connection and signal strength are limited.
Facilities & Property Rules
Q: Is parking available on-site?
A: Yes, we provide spacious, complimentary on-site parking for our guests. Please note that the resort assumes no liability for any damages, loss, or theft of vehicles and the contents inside them.
Q: Is tent pitching allowed on the resort grounds?
A: Due to limited shading in the area, tent pitching is strictly prohibited. To ensure a comfortable stay, all overnight guests must have a valid room or accommodation booking.
Q: What are the rules and fees for using the Common Kitchen?
A: Guests have access to our shared kitchen area under the following guidelines:
Corkage-Free Cooking: You are ALLOWED to bring and use your own butane stoves or “gasulito” cookers in the common kitchen area for free.
Resort Gas Stove Rental: To use the resort’s gas stove and basic cookset (1 pot, 1 pan, 1 knife, 1 chopping board, 1 ladle), rates are ₱300/night for up to 6 people (+₱50 per additional person).
Electrical Appliances: Bringing a personal Rice Cooker or Electric Kettle incurs a ₱200 fee per appliance. Other external electric cookers are strictly prohibited.
Refrigeration & Grilling: Rooms do not have private fridges, but a shared freezer is available near the kitchen. Use of the resort’s ihawan (grilling area) is FREE.
Utensils & Plates: For sanitary reasons, the resort does not provide plates or eating utensils. Please bring your own reusable sets.
Strict Safety Rule: Cooking is strictly prohibited inside, in front of, or beside the guest rooms. All cooking must take place in the Shared Kitchen area.
Day Tours & Day Use
Q: Do you accept walk-in day tours?
A: Yes! We welcome day tour guests from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Kubo Rental: The base rate is ₱1,000 for the kubo, plus an entrance fee of ₱100 per person.
Pool Access: Access to the swimming pool requires an additional fee of ₱250 per person and is strictly subject to availability.
Important Note: Please be advised that electronic power sockets are not provided for day tour rentals.

Q: Do you have an area for events or large group gatherings?
A: Yes, Sands and Waves Beach Resort features a multi-purpose area ideal for events and gatherings.
